MBO-4 Software developer
The Dutch vocational qualification for software developers, level 4, finished at Firda on 25 June 2025 on VABOK IT, the accelerated route Firda runs with NHL Stenden.

The qualification has two core tasks, creating software and working in a development team; the team task came out at 10. The elective Programmeren van microcontrollers (K0730) came out at 9. My ESP32 builds from the same years are the radio controller, the sensor display and the RC car.
Two results from the final year have pages of their own: the national Skills Heroes final in March 2025, and the HBO competencies assessment at first-year HBO level on 11 June 2025, two weeks before this diploma.
